Most performers have had a special "someone" who came alongside and helped them learn the things they needed to know, teach them how to do what they needed to do and answer the questions they needed to ask.
The mentor system has been around as long as there have been magicians and mentalists. That's one of the things we're about.
Our members help each other in our members-only Forum...and we have Faculty of experts that are available for one-on-one mentor sessions.
What would it be like to pick up the phone and ask Richard Osterlind to explain the nuances of his Q and A? Wouldn't it be great to get advice on how to promote a show from someone like Marc Salem, who sells out his mentalism shows on Broadway?
How much time and money would you save if you could create a marketing plan with help from someone who has been successfully selling their shows for decades?
Welcome to a special corner of the internet where mentalists come to hone their skills, share ideas and learn from each other and some of the best in the business.
The Mind Gems Brain Trust isn't for everyone. It's not supposed to be. We only want members who are serious about mentalism and getting better at what they do.
That's why we ask you to introduce yourself to us in a simple email before you get full access to these resources. (To find out more about why we are requesting information about you, please check our Questions page.)
Once you are accepted as a Mind Gems Brain Trust member, we will ask you for a $20 Membership Fee, which gives you access to the full site until the end of November -- in whatever year you join. This fee covers everything except the optional one-on-one mentorship sessions.
What resources do we offer?
Please note: Other than our Meet The Faculty and our Questions page, you will need a password to access the rest of the site.
Passwords are sent out to members only.
